Mrs. Gaede and the 4th Grade class had a special guest come in today to share her love and passion of reading. Mrs. Joanne Loewen, a former elementary teacher and Tabor College professor, still holds education and students of the present and past close to her heart. Mrs. Loewen has 6 of her former Tabor College students teaching at Peabody-Burns Elementary. This goes to show the impact she made on each one of us and now is helping to make an impact on our PBES kiddos. Thank you, Joanne for passing along your love for students and learning!

PBES second and fifth grades are teamed up this year as Book Buddies. The classes meet together every Thursday afternoon in the library for 45 minutes. During this time the students check out books and spend time visiting and reading to one another. Evan and Olivia shared a book this week.
