We are also welcoming many new teachers to the junior high/high school this year! This is our anticipated supply list for grades 6-12. Once school starts, individual teachers may have additional requests. We will do our best to keep this to a minimum. We are looking forward to seeing everyone!

We are excited to share that recent Peabody-Burns graduate **Kate Huls** nominated Angie Schmidt as a **Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction** through the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
In her nomination, Kate recognized Mrs. Schmidt for the dedication, perseverance, and genuine care she has shown students since joining USD 398. Kate shared that although Mrs. Schmidt was new to school counseling, she embraced every challenge with professionalism and determination while helping students navigate high school, scholarships, and college planning. Most importantly, Kate described her as someone who truly cares about every student and is always willing to listen, encourage, and help them succeed.
The Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction program recognizes outstanding teachers, counselors, and administrators who make a lasting difference in the lives of their students.
Congratulations, Angie Schmidt, on this well-deserved recognition! We are grateful to have you as part of the Peabody-Burns family, and we're proud that your impact is being recognized by the students whose lives you touch every day.
*"She has truly cared for every single student and wants to see all of us succeed."* — Kate Huls
A special thank you to Kate for taking the time to recognize an educator who has made a difference in her life. There is no greater compliment than being honored by the students we serve, and we appreciate Kate for shining a light on the impact educators have every day.
