Peabody-Burns Elementary School is looking for a part-time physical education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

If you or anybody you know is looking to make a positive impact on a child's life with great atmosphere to do it in, send them our way!

The 5th grade students joined their 7th grade buddies (Dakotas) for math class to learn what it will look like when they transition into middle school next year. The students were engaged in a fun math activity together, and collaborated well with one another. Once they completed this activity they were given time to learn how to properly unlock a locker, which will be a new task for the 5th grade students next year. The last activity was a scavenger hunt to locate different classrooms and areas around the school so the students had an idea of where to find things and who to go to for various needs. The morning was a great learning experience for our fifth grade students.

PBES had a great April assembly led by student leaders, Sergio and Holden. These two announced our pop tab winner (1st grade), our reading awards, and assisted with our April Student of the Month. Congratulations to our April Student of the Month, Bennett! Bennett has been nominated for student of the month several times this year, so this award was well-deserved! Bennett is always ready to learn something new and is always the first one to finish his assignments and homework. He has a big heart that is full of compassion and kindness and is a good friend to everyone! Bennett shows great integrity by picking up the classroom and always doing the right thing. He is a big helper to me and everyone in his class and always makes us laugh! Bennett is the perfect example of what a true “Warrior Hero” is! March nominees: Orson, Maximus, Armanii, Bennett, Kamden, Great job, Warriors!
