The 4th and 5th graders learned about the orchestra instruments this past month. In class we listened to "Peter and the Wolf", which uses instruments and narration to tell the story. The students then illustrated their own "Peter and the Wolf" story. They did an awesome job!
Mrs. Kyle's 7th grade class did a great job with their Kansas presentations today. Thank you all who came to support them!

Today Mr.Ball came and taught 4th grade about Kansas life back then vs. now! We ended with an art drawing of a sunflower to celebrate Kansas Day!

Detour tonight to White City for the Rural Vista basketball game.
HWY 4 is closed. The highway department detour will take you all the way back to Council Grove. However, if you keep going on Hwy 77 there is 1400 Road to the left that if you turn left it takes you to Woodbine, if you turn RIGHT, it is called G Rd, and will take you to White City. Over the past few weeks our Health Care III class has been taking a CPR/First Aid class taught by our school nurse! They have learned how to recognize life threatening emergencies and how to respond. Now they can do CPR, use an AED, do the Heimlich maneuver, and control bleeding on anyone from babies-adults!
