Our 5th grade students traveled to the Middle/High School this morning to meet up with their 7th grade mentor for their next activity in our transition to middle school program. Today's activity included a Q & A session with the MS/HS Principal (Mrs. Janssen), Activities Director (Mr. Weaver), and Counselor (Mrs. D'Angelo). 5th graders prepared questions ahead of time and had the opportunity to ask those questions to ease any anxiety or nerves they may have before entering a new building.

Santa’s Giftland comes this week! Peabody-Burns Elementary School hosts a Santa Giftland group led by Mrs. Patti Richter. Many items, some homemade & handcrafted, are brought in to the school for students to purchase as Christmas gifts for loved ones.
TONIGHT is the night to witness "The Greatest Show!" Our K - 5th grade P.E. classes will be showcasing their basketball skills during halftime of the high school boys’ basketball game. Please have students there by 7:00pm.

USD #398 elementary and Jr/Sr High School has combined their Winter Music Concerts this year into one night called "Fine Arts Night." Student art work will also be on display. The elementary concert will begin at 6:00 in the Brown Gymnasium with the Jr/Sr High School to follow on December 16. See you all there!
Merry Christmas! The PBES 3rd and 4th graders are busy learning traditions, area, perimeter problem solving and persistence to design , build and decorate their own gingerbread houses. Here is a sneak peak at our creations.
