The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has allowed several flexibilities through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. These flexibilities allow Peabody-Burns Public Schools to serve free meals to all enrolled students through the end of the school year as funding allows. This means for the 2020-21 school year, all enrolled students do not need to add funds to their meal account for breakfast or lunch (unless at the secondary level and purchasing a second meal.) If you already have funds added, these will be carried over to the next school year, or you may request a refund by emailing your building secretary. Meal pick-up’s are also be available for students who are enrolled in Peabody-Burns Public Schools and are learning from home whether they are remote learners and, or quarantined for a period of time. The menu served to remote learners will be the same as the menu served inside the building and is subject to change without notice.
Note: If you may qualify for free/reduced meals, please continue to submit an application so we have this in place whenever this funding runs out. Your meal application may also help you qualify for reduced enrollment fees.
